A recent video has captured the hilarious moment when a dog's focus on a fly took priority over her training session.

## Dog's Focus Shifts from Training to Fly

The video shows a Vizsla named Penny sitting in the middle of the room while her owner tries to work on basic commands. A bowl filled with treats is nearby, suggesting the dog has every reason to pay attention and cooperate. However, a fly buzzing somewhere inside the house proves to be a major distraction.

Penny repeatedly turns her head and scans the room, clearly trying to locate the fly. Even when her owner asks her to perform commands, the dog struggles to keep her attention on the training session. At one point, Penny sits while staring away from her owner, seemingly convinced that she needs to keep track of the flying distraction.

The situation becomes even funnier when the dog appears to rush through the commands just so she can return to searching for the fly. Penny's mom manages to get her to give a paw, but the dog's body language makes it clear that her mind remains elsewhere. She keeps looking around the room instead of fully concentrating on the task in front of her.

| Command | Result | | --- | --- | | Sit | Rushed through, distracted | | Give a paw | Managed, but with divided attention | | Other commands | Struggled to focus |

The caption perfectly sums up the struggle. "Honestly, that's my bad for trying to practice commands when she's on a fly catching shift," the owner wrote. The video struck a chord with viewers, many of whom admitted that their own dogs behave the same way when a fly appears.

One user wrote, "She's so funny." Another laughed at Penny's appearance, writing, "Absolutely losing it at her little knees." One viewer shared a familiar experience: "Oh, if there's a fly, it's over. My house becomes WWE with the three of them trying to get it." Another jokingly defended the dog, writing, "How rude of you to expect her to concentrate on you!!! Ha! Her mini tantrum is hilarious!"
